going freelance

i've been thinking a lot about going freelance and pursuing one of my many dreams. just ordered this book from amazon called creative, inc. about how to go freelance.

the book's supposed to be a little bit different from most books on freelancing - a lot of which are enormously complicated and intimidating. what books have you found helpful on freelancing? and what type of freelancing do you do?

i have many ideas on what i'd like to do as a freelancer. from being a fashion stylist, to helping people get organized, to crafting, to consulting as a social media strategist, to being a life coach. all things that i've been told i'm very good at. now ... what to choose. hoping this book will help me decide!
