handy dandy viral loop infographic from buddy media/mashable:
what's so interesting about this, you ask? 1. bobby sue likes the pants you have for sale on your website. she likes them so much, she clicks "like" underneath the pants.
2. your pants, and the fact that bobby sue likes them, show up in bobby sue's newsfeed on facebook.
3. bobby joe, bobby sue's boyfriend, sees that bobby sue likes these pants when he hops on facebook in the afternoon.
4. bobby joe clicks on the link to your website, purchases the pants for bobby joe, and then goes on to like some other things on your website.
5. this process could repeat itself with bobby joe's dad, billy joe.
6. but when bobby sue receives the pants in the mail, she takes a picture of herself in her newfound pieces of sewn together linen. then she tags the photo with your facebook page.
7. billy sue sees bobby sue's new pants in the picture, and then SHE "likes" your facebook page, and purchases her own pants and a pair for her sister.
8. this continues ... infinitely. as long as facebook continues to work.
all of this can be done now with some super simply HTML. i looked at it myself, and it can be done so easily. check it out here: http://developers.facebook.com/plugins.
